My father was a policeman and for a time I dabbled at the idea of being in law enforcement myself. I fancied the idea that I’ll catch thieves and burglars, keeping my neighborhood safe, and most of all; I really reveled at the idea of being a peace keeper.
At a young age I thought that being a policeman just means going to the sheriff and asking for a badge. I never realized that it takes a lot of effort before you can become an officer of the law. You have to study and make sure you know the rights of the citizens even if they are on the wrong side of the law. There are online schools for police officers where they can start or continue their training and become better law enforcement officers. Classes can be taken any time during the day or night, depending on your schedule. Online courses are available in any area of law enforcement. Your possibilities are endless.
